Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills required:
2+ years experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
Passion for Mexican cuisine.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are important for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 weeks
Pay: $18.00 per hour
