Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef to join our team working at RAF Grantown-on-Spey PH26 3JL


You will be supporting in managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage and be supportive of new team members to support them with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What do we offer:
This is a full-time position, £13.50 per hour, 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern, 5 days over 7 including rotational weekends). Shifts range between 06:30 and 1+:00, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work in hospitality.

Extended leave over the Christmas and New Year period.

A day in the life of a Chef:
Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage.

Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.

Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, have a willingness to support in other areas of the kitchen.

Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to ensure due diligence throughout.

Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.

You will be set up for success if you have:
Experience within a professional kitchen environment
Excellent team player and communicator.
A willingness to learn new production styles within the kitchen.
Security checks and DBS required for this role.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt.
