Cook – Early Morning
Our client based in Stockport require an experienced cook to work in their sandwich van based on their manufacturing site.
This is a temp to perm position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Preparation and cooking of various breakfast meals/sandwiches for customers in a timely manner.
• Serving customers and cash handling with accuracy.
• Preparation of food including chopping up ingredients and portion sizing.
• Keeping the work area sanitized, clean and tidy always.
• Ensuring food is prepared and cooked in line with HS.
• Clean up and prepare for the next working day.
• Ensure no cross contamination of food types – separate boards for meat, bread and vegetables.
• Ensure work surfaces and equipment is cleaned throughout preparation and serving.
• Checking fridge and freezer temperature as per guidelines.
• Keeping on top of stock daily and report to management regarding orders etc.
• Always complying with food hygiene standards.
Working Hours:
• 6am – 11-12pm / Monday – Friday
• 25 – 36 hours weekly.
• Flexibility required.
Hourly Rate:
• £11.44 to start – Negotiable for the right person.
Candidate Specifications:
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Confident and self-managing.
• Ability to be a key holder
