Content Writer and Editor

Responsibilities:

Research and Report: Conduct thorough research on various topics to gather accurate information. This includes reading other news articles, and using reliable databases.

Write and Edit Content: Produce well-written, factually accurate, and compelling news stories. This includes writing articles, reports, and other forms of content that adhere to the publication's style and editorial guidelines.

Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with current events and trends. A news content writer must be knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, from politics and economics to culture, technology and sports.

Collaborate: Work closely with editors other writers to refine articles, brainstorm ideas, and ensure cohesive and high-quality content.

Meet Deadlines: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines. News is a fast-paced industry, so timeliness and the ability to work under pressure are crucial.

Adapt to Different Formats: Ability to tailor content for different platforms, such as print, online, social media, and possibly broadcast.

Fact-Checking: Ensure all information is accurate and sources are credible, minimizing the risk of misinformation.

Qualifications:

MUST BE PROFICIENT IN BOTH HINDI AND ENGLISH - Reading and writing

Education: A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field is often preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in journalism or writing, including internships or work on school publications, can be beneficial.

Writing Skills: Excellent writing, grammar, and storytelling skills are essential.

Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct thorough and efficient research.

Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems (CMS), and basic photo editing software.

Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills to effectively gather information from sources and collaborate with team members.

Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing news and shift focus to different stories as needed.

Our office is in KHARGHAR PANVEL, NAVIMUMBAI. Only apply if you can WORK FROM OFFICE. We have different shifts, not just morning. We are near a metro station.
