Content SEO Executive
The Content SEO Executive is responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing high-quality content that drives organic search performance. This role requires a balance of creative writing, keyword research, and technical SEO understanding. Success in this position means consistently improving website traffic, keyword rankings, and user engagement while aligning with the brand voice and marketing goals. Responsibilities
• Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies to improve search engine visibility
• Write, edit, and optimize SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions
• Create compelling meta titles, meta descriptions, and alt text for images
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing team to align content with campaigns and SEO goals
• Perform on-page SEO audits and implement improvements (e.g., internal linking, headings, URL structure)
• Track and report on content performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
• Update outdated content to maintain search relevance and accuracy
• Monitor competitors and industry trends to generate fresh content ideas
• Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of assigned content
• Ensure content is original, grammatically correct, and adheres to brand tone
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of proven experience in content writing and SEO
• Strong command of English with excellent grammar and editing skills
• Working knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, screaming frog, Moz,
• Basic understanding of HTML, metadata, and CMS platforms like WordPress
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword planning tools
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
