Job Title: Event Planning and Content Strategist
Job Description:
This role involves planning, creative ideation, and content development to enhance audience experiences and drive revenue generation initiatives.
• Assist in developing event themes, titles, and formats that resonate with both brand and audience expectations.
• Write and edit engaging content such as pitch decks, concept notes, emcee scripts, speaker briefs, video outlines, and social media copy.
• Support the senior content team in building creative strategies for flagship events and brand-led activations.
• Conduct research on speakers, topics, and audience interests to support narrative development.
• Help build session flows, panel outlines, and presentation materials that are aligned with the event objective and tone.
• Coordinate closely with design, editorial, sales, and marketing teams to translate content plans into compelling event assets.
• Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and support new event IP development.
• Assist with content creation during event production including backstage coordination, AV script timing, and live updates.
• Ensure timely delivery of content assets across channels before and during the event lifecycle.
Qualifications Requirements:
• 4–5 years of experience in content creation, brand strategy, event marketing, or journalism.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor content for different formats (decks, videos, digital, on-ground).
• A good eye for detail and structured thinking with basic visual sensibility.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with Canva or basic design tools is a plus.
• Experience in media, event agencies, or brand marketing teams will be an advantage.
