The Steve Marshall Group operates new, used, and RV dealerships throughout British Columbia and the US. We are an award-winning brand with more than 400 employees, and we are looking to add one more as a full-time Content Engagement Specialist.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Content Engagement Specialist to take our online presence to the next level. Your mission? Grow our social media platforms to generate leads, increase website traffic, and engage our local community. You’ll be working hands-on with content creation, engagement strategies, and digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and create content for all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Develop engaging posts, videos, stories, and blogs aligned with marketing goals
Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions
Be available to support and capture local community sponsorships and events
Work closely with our Auto Group Marketing Director to contribute content for group-wide initiatives
Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the curve
Track engagement and performance metrics, adjusting strategies for better results
Support SEO initiatives and website traffic growth through social content
Update our website content weekly to keep information fresh and relevant
Assist with Google Analytics and campaign tracking to optimize lead generation
Collaborate with the Graphics team for visually compelling content
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and OEM guidelines
SEO, Google Analytics, and lead generation campaigns
Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and visual content
Cadences:

Daily: Social media content gathering, posting and monitoring. Planning out future timelines and scheduling. Reviewing all comments on posts and responding to them in proper fashion.

Weekly: Content planning sessions with respective Strategist(s) for support, as well as the full Marketing team for alignment. Provide weekly review of results to recent posts and provide feedback and direction on best practices/adjustments moving forward.

Monthly: Provide a thorough report and review of engagement data. Adjust content plans based on Tactical direction from Strategist(s); referencing industry/social media activities is helpful. Review calendar (provided by Strategist) for up to +0 days to plan sessions for content gathering.

Quarterly: Collaborate on larger creative projects, upcoming events/sponsorships, and our Auto Group activities.

Qualifications Competencies:

Proven experience in content creation, marketing, or a similar role (experience in the automotive industry is a plus).
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
