Content Developer
The Professional Services Human Centred Change(HCC) team, part of our Global Delivery Centre team, consists of a group of passionate consultants who create and implement change management strategies through a human centred approach, enabling our customers to get the most out of our platform. As part of Salesforce Professional Services, our professionals are expected to have a strategic ability to understand our customers' business objectives and the challenges they face in achieving the change required to truly transform. In practice, the HCC practice aims at capturing and documenting high-level design of training curriculum including the development timeline and execution plan for all deliverables. The role entails cross-functional team work, client interface, excellent communication and writing skills.Key Responsibilities:
Capturing and documenting high-level design of training curriculum including the development timeline and execution plan for all deliverables
• Collaborate with Education Architect to develop learning materials specific to the customer's use case, Salesforce solution, persona-based journey requirements
• Ability to conceptualise and develop a variety of training modules and materials (e.g., presentations, written documentation, eLearning and web-based training modules, how-to videos, simulations, audio modules) for instructor-led or asynchronous learning
• Flexibility to design training materials in parallel to Salesforce implementation, requiring iterative changes to materials for consistency with Salesforce solution, user role, customer business process, and feedback
• Collaborate with customer team to capture and design realistic day-in-the-life learning experiences for end users to reinforce customer business processes
• Proactively identify and communicate roadblocks that could impact ability to meet deadlines
• Work with SMEs/ training instructors to master curriculum for successful execution of training deliveryExperience and Education:
• 4 - 8 years of instructional-design led content development experience or equivalent
• Experience of handling complex technology transformation process components
• Experience delivering trainings using various learning solutions and/or facilitating learning
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Content Development, Instructional Design, Communications or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for groups
• Knowledge of general change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Significant industry experience (minimum) in a customer facing roleSkills:
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Effective organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
• Media production, communication techniques and methods to motivate and engage learners
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Proficiency with Slack
• Screen capture and screen recording tools (such as Snagit, Giphy Capture, etc.)
• Experience with multimedia and eLearning tools such as Adobe Camtasia, Articulate360, Screencast-O-Matic, etc.Product KnowledgeBasic working knowledge of:
