The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Awhi Matua team. This is a full-time or part-time permanent position based in Greenlane Clinical Centre, Auckland.
About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist with Awhi Matua, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment to older adults experiencing mental illness and/or cognitive change. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement recovery-focused treatment plans.
Requirements
Completed specialist training in psychiatry
Experience working with older adults with mental health issues
Strong assessment and management skills
Recovery-focused approach
Vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Current Practicing Certificate or eligibility for registration
