Mann Hospitality LLP is seeking a passionate and skilled Commis Chef specializing in North Indian and Tandoor cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and support the senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and cooking authentic North Indian and Tandoori dishes as per standardized recipes.
• Operate tandoor oven for breads (naan, roti), kebabs, and grilled items.
• Ensure mise en place is completed for the assigned section before each service.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and working area.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support other kitchen sections when required.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or reputed restaurant.
• Basic understanding of North Indian spices, gravies, and tandoor techniques.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
