Require a Commi 1 in Continental / Indian.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Commis 1 to join our kitchen team.
As Commis 1, you will work under the guidance of our head chef and sous chef, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes in the kitchen
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Assist in the receiving, storage and rotation of products
• Assist in food inventory and ordering
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in the training of new kitchen staff
• Follow instructions from head chef and sous chef
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen
• Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and ingredients
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Food Safety Certification
• A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field
