CO-OP Student (Payroll and HR Administration)
Overview:
Flatiron Dragados, Inc is seeking a talented Co-op Student (Payroll and HR Administration) to join its dynamic and energetic team.
We are looking for a Co-op Student for 8 months starting May 2025 at our downtown Toronto, ON location.
What you will be doing:
Review, scan and save paper documents/files and file them electronically
Provide administrative support with employee records, data entry and tracking
Assist with entering new hires in the payroll system (ADP)
Assist with HR-related tasks when/if needed
Assist the Office Manager at the reception desk when needed
Participate in and assist with various projects
Perform other tasks as required
What we are looking for:
Pursuing a diploma in Administration or HR, or a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related discipline
Work experience in office, administration or customer service is highly preferred
Experience dealing with confidential information is highly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
High level of discretion
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
Team player who demonstrates enthusiasm, positive outlook and professional demeanor, and takes initiative
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
