About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your role:
Assist the Nurse Unit Manager to implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
Liaise with the SCAN Assessment and Management Team.
Strengthen inter-departmental linkages with Department of Child Safety and key stakeholders both internal and external who work in the area of child protection and child safety.
