Job Overview:

As a furniture cleaner, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks that require both physical effort and attention to detail. This is not your average cleaning role; it's a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall maintenance and presentation of our store.

Key Responsibilities: (Full training on everything will be provided)

Bed and Couch Maintenance: Scrubbing and sewing of beds and couches (Sewing training provided if necessary).

Whiteware Cleaning: Ensuring the cleanliness of whiteware items within the store.

Stock Management: Moving and organizing furniture stock within the store.

Staff Room/Outdoor Area Maintenance: Upkeeping the staff room/toilets etc.

General Errands: Running errands, including shopping for cleaning supplies and other necessities.

Floor Maintenance: Mopping and sweeping the shop floor

Furniture Polishing: Applying polishing techniques to maintain the shine and appeal of our furniture.

Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks and handle manual work.

Willingness to learn and be trained in cleaning/sewing and other relevant skills.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.

Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

Location: We are situated on Great South Road in Manurewa, with the store open 7 days a week.

Training:

As mentioned full training will be provided for any specific tasks or skills you may be unfamiliar with.
