Childcare Centre Manager

About Us:

We are a small, community-focused childcare centre committed to providing high-quality early education and care in a warm, supportive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Manager to lead our team, oversee enrolments, and drive growth through increased occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of dedicated educators to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences.
%25-%50 of your time, to be in the floor to assist your team
Manage day-to-day operations of the centre in compliance with National Quality Standards and relevant regulations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, children, staff, and the wider community.
Oversee enrolments, tours, and family onboarding processes.
Develop and implement strategies to increase enrolment numbers and centre capacity.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CCS, policies, and legislation.
Promote a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
Monitor financial performance and work toward centre growth targets.
What We’re Looking For:

Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early learning setting (ideally as a Centre Manager or Assistant Director).
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF, and CCS system.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage enrolments and effectively promote the service to families.
Passionate about delivering exceptional care and building a thriving early learning community.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
