Responsibilities for Waffle Chef
• Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes, standards, and procedures
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner with the highest quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, utensils, and dishes
• Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverages
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
• Assist other cooks and kitchen staff as needed
• Prepare breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelets, etc.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all health department regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Train new employees on cooking techniques and safety protocols
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions
