Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to thrive under pressure during busy service periods.
Familiarity with restaurant management principles is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
