Hello all, we are looking for a reliable Cook with great knife and management skills to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist the head chef by preparing vegetables/proteins
Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator or freezer as required by the chef
Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use
Study the menu and prepare ingredients ahead of schedule
Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
Support the kitchen team whenever needed.
MUST be a Team player and be able to multitask in the kitchen.
Should be willing to do packaging work as part of job requirements (training would be provided).
Qualifications:

Experience working as a cook in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene
Passionate about culinary arts and creative cooking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time
4-Day Work Week (Day Shifts)

Shift days are every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Mondays - 8:30 am

Tuesdays - 6:00 am

Fridays - 8:30 am

Saturdays - 6:00 am

Average of 40 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
