Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Commis 2 to join our cloud kitchen team specializing in fresh salads. The ideal candidate should have a passion for healthy food, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of high-quality salads, bowls, and beverages as per standardized recipes.
• Ensure all ingredients are washed, cut, and prepped in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain consistency in portion sizes, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as blenders, juicers, ovens and vegetable slicers safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety guidelines, including proper storage and handling of fresh produce.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels on the system and reporting shortages to the supervisor/ owner.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with kitchen hygiene protocols.
• Support senior chefs and kitchen staff in various culinary tasks and daily kitchen operations.
• Adhere to cloud kitchen protocols for efficient order preparation and timely delivery.
Qualifications Skills:
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a cloud kitchen or quick-service restaurant.
• Education: Diploma or certification in culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory. Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of salad preparation and handling fresh ingredients.
• Familiarity with kitchen safety, sanitation is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
