Job Overview
Linde Plc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Local CDL A or B Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport goods and compressed gas cylinders to customer locations.
Responsibilities
Deliver hard goods, compressed gas cylinders, and associated products to customer locations
Operate a local route delivery vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods
Load and unload products at client sites, maintaining attention to detail and commitment to safety
Communicate with customers, responding to their needs and providing excellent service
Maintain accurate records of quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying need for vehicle repairs and maintenance
Requirements
Valid class A or B CDL license
2 years driving experience or completion of a truck driver training course
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
A current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
Ability to read and write in English
High School G.E.D. or equivalent required
