Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in Queenstown. This role involves working on a range of residential and commercial projects in Queenstown and providing essential carpentry skills to our sites. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to quality, we want to hear from you!
We have three roles available for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform general carpentry tasks, including formwork, framing, roofing, and finishing
work
-Work collaboratively with your team and other trades to meet project goals.
-Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets regulatory requirements
-Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
-Problem solve on-site issues efficiently
Requirements:
-Relevant carpentry qualifications or equivalent experience (3 years +)
-Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations in New Zealand
-Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
-New Zealand driver’s license and own transport required
-Own tools required.
What We Offer:
-Minimum pay rate of $2+.66 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience (up to $35.00ph)
-Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed
