Job Description: We are currently seeking a carpenter with experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work, possesses a valid driver's license, and is dedicated to delivering top-notch construction and renovation services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, roof assemblies, and doorframes
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and moldings
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Perform general maintenance tasks on structures and equipment
• Assist in various construction and renovation tasks as directed by the project supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Support the completion of full home renovations and commercial construction projects.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in construction or renovation work.
• Prior experience with residential house framing is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
• Good understanding of math and measurements
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
