Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter located in St Marys, ON. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks including framing, using power tools, and finish carpentry. Daily tasks will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing structures and fixtures, and ensuring that work is completed to code and client specifications. The Carpenter will also be required to maintain hand tools, assess project needs, and collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project workflow.
Qualifications
• Experience and proficiency in Carpentry
• Skillful use of Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Expertise in Framing and Finish Carpentry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow plans and blueprints
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in residential or commercial construction is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in carpentry are beneficial
