Carpenter - Framing
Tamarack Construction Company is looking for a Carpenter to join our team, framing houses in the high-end Toronto market.
Opportunities for remote work in Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Prince Edward County and surrounding areas are available.
Responsibilities Qualifications:
In this role, you will work alongside a crew of 2-5 carpenters on residential Framing projects, including renovations and new builds. There are opportunities working on Finish/Trim as well.
*We appreciate all applicants however, please note that we are looking for a skilled carpenter with previous experience in framing*
2+ years of experience is preferred, but any experienced carpenter qualified for the role and committed to their trade is highly encouraged to apply!

Experience in residential framing; ability to operate tools and machinery safely and with demonstrated skill
Highly motivated and hard-working
Caring and consideration for team members, clients, and management as demonstrated through effective communication skills
Meticulous eye for detail and precision
Diverse skillset for a variety of carpentry, construction, framing, and finishing projects, with an eagerness to learn
Appreciation for the importance of cleanliness and organization on the job
Someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about their trade
Ensure compliance with safety regulations; demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
Valid Working at Heights certification considered an asset
Valid First Aid Certificate considered an asset
A valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
