We currently operate a fleet of 20 multi car transporters varying in size and functionality. We cover all over the UK moving all varieties of vehicles while working in partnership with dealerships, fleet, and auction facilities.

We move a variety of vehicles ranging from brand new, used, vintage and non-running vehicles. We can cater for various sizes from car, vans, motorhomes, and trailers.

The Role:

The current position we have available has been created for someone with class 2 driving experience, who may have a specific interest or passion for the car transportation industry, to get a start and to learn at entry level and provide them with the training and equipment they will need to advance into the larger vehicles and HGV classes.

The position will initially be starting out on a single vehicle transporter with the aim to work up in stages to the larger transporters and if suitable, the opportunity may be available to be put through a class 1 (C+E) licence.

· This position will be based from our Edinburgh Depot.

· Shift Schedule will be Monday – Friday with Occasional Saturday shift.

· Overnights WILL be a requirement; the frequency will change according to workload. (If being away from home poses any issue, please do not apply!)

What we require from you:

Hold a Class 2 HGV Licence (Preferably Clean).
Hold a valid CPC.
A good understanding of the Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Own Transport to get to and from depot.
A Good level of physical fitness. The Job is exerting and depending on the transporter being used will involve working at height.
To load and unload vehicles in line with procedures.
To plan and assess routes in line with daily needs.
To complete all checks in a timely and accurate manner.
To carry out vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is in full working order, and to report any faults.
The successful applicant must be ok with early starts, some long days and unpredictable schedule

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
