Job Title: Executive Chef
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced chef to support our kitchen operations. As an executive chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, stock management, and dispatching both in-house and off-site events. This role requires working on weekdays and weekends as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality menus to ensure profitable restaurant operations.
Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, including training and cleaning duties.
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to maintain safe and sanitary practices.
Prepare customized dishes for customers with dietary restrictions and estimate food requirements and costs.
Monitor food stock levels, place orders, and check freshness of ingredients.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a restaurant or café setting in Australia or overseas.
Certification in Commercial Cookery from Australia or overseas.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Availability to work weekends.
