Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager - Aerospace for the Rapid Vertical at Imaginarium, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our market presence within the additive manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the additive manufacturing sector.
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as. a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
Understand client requirements, anticipate needs, and proactively address concerns to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and reviews to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Lead Generation and Pipeline Management:
Generate leads through various channels including networking events, industry conferences, cold calling, and digital marketing initiatives.
Qualify leads, conduct initial assessments, and prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment and revenue potential.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead generation to closure.
Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of projects and alignment with business objectives.
Provide feedback and insights to internal teams based on market feedback and client interactions to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and resolution of issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
3-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies, with experience in additive manufacturing preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
