Business Development Manager – Government Sales
Job description
Experience in selling products or services to government entities.
Own and manage end-to-end sales activities for Government accounts across central/state departments and public sector bodies.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in government and PSUs. By meeting them
Experience with platforms like GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and CPP (Central Procurement Portal). Familiarity with tendering, bidding, and empanelment procedures.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the government sector.
Managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads, and driving sales closure.
Leading the process of responding to government tenders and bids.
Understanding government requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
Promoting the company's products and solutions to government clients.
Developing and implementing strategies for growth in the government market.
Tracking sales performance, analyzing market trends, and reporting on progress.
Working with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical) to ensure successful execution of projects.
Should have good knowledge about the buying process in Central and State govt. companies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
