Job Description: Business Development Executive
Experience: 1 to 2 yrs
Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new tie-ups with educational institutions in Rajasthan: Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and potential clients to identify new business prospects. Implement the company's strategic approach to expand our presence in schools and colleges.
• Build and maintain relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, agents, and other relevant partners. Cultivate long-term partnerships to drive business growth and enhance Meridean Overseas' reputation.
• Sales and revenue generation: Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
• Client management: Serve as a point of contact for schools and colleges for understanding their requirements, and organizing tailored seminars. Maintain regular communication with schools to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
• Market intelligence and reporting: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide timely reports and analysis on sales performance, market opportunities, and potential risks. Use data-driven insights to inform business strategies and decision-making.
• Represent the company: Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to represent Meridean Overseas. Deliver compelling presentations and engage with potential clients to showcase the company's services and value proposition.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the education or study abroad industry.
• Familiarity with international education systems, study abroad programs, and visa processes.
• Sales and negotiation skills: Demonstrated ability to drive sales, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey the company's offerings and value proposition.
• Relationship building: Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Strong networking and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse individuals and organizations.
• Market knowledge: Sound understanding of the education industry, study abroad market, and international student recruitment trends. Ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Results-oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
• Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for business meetings, conferences, and client visits.
