Business Analyst
Company Profile Job Description – Business Analyst -Business analysts work with organisations to help them improve their processes and work-flow systems. They conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these systems to businesses and their clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Creates and aggregates requirements from all stakeholders.
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends and help the team implement those best practices.
• Maintain a prioritized, ready-to-work backlog with an appropriate mix of new features, feature enhancements, and bugfixes.
• Work with business stakeholders to define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Contribute to the Planning, execution and review of each sprint.
• Works with the team to set sprint goals.
• Organize and facilitate sprint and release planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demo, reviews and retrospectives and other scrum ceremonies.
• Champion lightweight process that maximizes ownership, output, and team satisfaction.
• Act as the primary communicator and link between leadership and teams.
• Motivate the team with a clear, elevating goal.
• Evaluating product progress at each iteration.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Collaborate with IT Development, QA and Technical Support teams to replicate, understand, and prioritize resolution of product process issues.
Requirements:
• Experience in requirements management, backlog management, prioritization, release planning.
• Experience in customer management, negotiation, understanding customer voice.
• Experience working with U.S customers or partners.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker with a vision.
• Attention to details.
• Able to understand the market, the customer and the business to make sound decisions.
