We are a small accountancy practice seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements.
Utilise accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage 50 to manage financial data efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage 50.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in payroll processing would be advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
