About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage our bookkeeping, finance, and administration functions across multiple office locations. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with Sage Accounting software and other commonly used accounting tools. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping using Sage Accounting and other software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics (as required)
Process sales invoices and ensure timely customer billing
Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Prepare and process monthly accounting reconciliations
Control day-to-day income and expenditure transactions across multiple office locations
Provide financial information and assess implications for business performance and funding needs
Prepare and direct financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
Support monthly and yearly budget preparation based on business needs
Help improve and enforce financial controls within the organization
Ensure company financial policies and rules are followed at all times
Record and reconcile payments received and purchases made
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions as needed
Handle basic office administration tasks including filing, report documentation, and internal communications
Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, finance, and office administration
Strong knowledge of Sage Accounting software (mandatory)
Experience with other accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Solid understanding of financial reporting and compliance
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Ability to work independently while supporting finance operations across multiple offices
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
