About Lizard Centre:
For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate FEMALE Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Westmeadows for 2 weekly shifts:
Wednesday 4:00pm-6:00pm
Friday 4:00pm-6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school
Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement
Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skills Experience
Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)
Experience working with children is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential
Requirements:
Working with Children Check NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
Australian Driver's License Vehicle
Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift
