Barista/Cashier
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/cashier to join our team. Able to start at 6.30 Am in the morning, weekdays and Saturdays.This is a french bakery.Speak in french and English is a bones.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help others.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
