Bakery
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Assistant to oversee our bakery operations. The Bakery Assistant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring high-quality products. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with making cakes, pastry's and cookies is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bakery operations, including production and quality control
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop new products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise
- Prepare dough for cakes, bread, rolls and sweet goods such as biscuits cookies.
- Operate all kitchen appliances (mixer, proofer, dough divider, oven)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in the food industry, preferably in a bakery.
- Strong knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques, food handling, and sanitation practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
