We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed.
Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
Manage service appointments and maintain an organized schedule to optimize workflow.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Maintain a clean and welcoming service area for customers.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an automotive dealership or repair environment is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
Mechanical knowledge or experience as a mechanic is a plus.
Proven sales abilities, particularly in upselling automotive services.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
