Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for painting by removing parts, sanding surfaces, and applying primer as necessary.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure high-quality preparation work.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional repair needs before the painting process.
Collaborate with mechanics and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts and equipment as required.
Follow shop standards for quality and efficiency in all tasks performed.
Experience
Previous experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with bodyshop operations is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
A background as a mechanic or in automotive prep work is highly desirable.
