Autobody Prepper

An opportunity exists within the Wood Automotive Group for a Autobody Prepper to join the team at All Makes Collision Centre!

Qualifications:

A team player with a focus on quality workmanship and efficient work habits. The successful candidate will show attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt and assist in a fast paced shop environment. The ideal candidate must be organized and highly productive in order to handle the high volume of collision work. Clean driver’s abstract is required.

The Autobody Prepper is responsible for helping the Paint Technicians prepare vehicles for paint and other various duties.

This is a straight time / hourly position.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Prep surfaces for paint technicians
• Assisting painter with spot repairs
• Check preparation quality prior to painting, liaise with refinishing technician and advise supervisor if necessary
• Advise supervisor of scheduled maintenance and emergency maintenance of paint booths and equipment
• Minor paint repairs
