Salary: $67.2+ to $77.+1 hourly

Description

Length: 3-month initial contract, open to extend

Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of vendor and procurement contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Provide legal advice on contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and suggesting mitigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide strategic legal guidance.
Maintain an organized system of contract records and documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and templates.


Requirements

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
3 to 7 years of experience in commercial contract law, with a focus on vendor and procurement agreements.
Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Experience with data privacy laws and regulations, including reviewing and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and advising on privacy compliance issues, is strongly preferred
