Job Description
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle and technical architecture. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.
Lead Manager/Engineering Manager Responsibilities
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant :
Engineering Management
• Managing day to day development activities of at least 2-3 different product scrum teams
• Planning product roadmap along with tech leads, product managers and BA's
• Ensuring best practices of quality assurance, SDLC, DevOps in all scrum teams
• Leading the team from the front to analyse risks and provide solutions as and where needed
• Leading the release management of all products under you
• Managing internal and external stakeholders, providing proactive weekly, monthly, yearly updates
• Be the face to customers for escalations.
Jaipur DC People Management
• Guiding juniors and creating a healthy work environment to ensure productive deliverables
• Identifying gaps in individuals and initiating training plans
• Go to person for all Jaipur DC team members
• Setting up the professional culture of working and identifying gaps in processes and presenting a plan for improvement
• Supporting HR team with new staff requirements, hiring, and identifying the right talent based upon the project/product needs as and when required
• Operations (5% involvement as we have centralized managed Ops across Org)
• Identifying local requirements in terms of facility, resources and budgeting along with accounts team.
Education And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
