Job Overview:
As an Assistant Salon Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the salon from opening to closing. Your responsibilities will include managing client appointments, providing exceptional customer service, promoting salon services and packages, achieving daily sales targets, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Management:
• Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon.
• Assist clients with scheduling appointments, both in-person and over the phone.
• Address and resolve client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Sales and Marketing:
• Upsell salon packages, memberships, and ongoing offers to clients.
• Promote and explain the benefits of different services and products.
• Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets.
• Operational Duties:
• Oversee daily salon operations to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
• Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day.
• Monitor and manage the appointment scheduling system to optimize service efficiency.
• Team Support:
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and new hires.
• Coordinate with the salon manager and staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service.
• Handle staff scheduling and manage shifts as needed.
• Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain client loyalty.
• Resolve any client issues or complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
• Collect client feedback to improve salon services.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Manage daily cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Maintain and update client records and appointment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a salon or spa environment preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell services and products effectively.
• Proficient in using salon management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
