Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Collections to join our team. As an Assistant Manager Collections, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection activities and ensuring efficient and effective debt recovery. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Qualifications And Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in collections, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle complex and escalated collection cases
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using collection software and MS Office applications
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Roles And Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the performance of the collections team to ensure targets are met
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the debt recovery process
• Analyze and evaluate collection reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Handle complex and escalated collection cases
• Ensure compliance with debt collection laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance customer experience
• Train and mentor collection agents to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
• Prepare and present collection performance reports to senior management
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in debt collection
