Assembly Manager
We are hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assembly Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the assembly line operations and manage a team of assembly workers to ensure efficient and timely production. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments such as production planning, quality control, and maintenance to optimize productivity and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee procurement operations at all levels.
• Monitor the daily production planning process.
• Effectively manage internal and external material stocks based on production plans.
• Analyze assembly and manpower costs to ensure efficiency.
• Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere within the department.
• Coordinate with the General Manager to provide updates for the upcoming production cycle.
• Monitor and promote health and safety awareness within the department.
• Prepare and analyze various Management Information System (MIS) reports related to assembly.
• Collaborate with the production team and department heads to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop production plans based on customer requirements and prepare weekly schedules.
• Take charge of new product development, fitting, assembly, and launch activities.
• Ensure product quality by promptly addressing any queries or concerns.
• Train and mentor new employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Supervise both the worker staff and office staff within the department.
• Oversee the entire production planning process and daily activities.
• Conduct regular department visits to closely observe and assist junior staff with technical and non technical issues.
• Efficiently manage stock and inventory to meet production demands.
• Follow up on work responsibilities with junior staff to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate the dispatch of inner orders from the assembly department.
• Engage and motivate employees through various activities to boost morale.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for the department and submit them to the HR department.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in assembly techniques and equipment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience 5 to 7 year in preferably in a Toys Manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of Toys assembly line operations, production processes, and quality control principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
