ASP Driver
Temporary Part-Time Van Driver at Vision Academy
The primary purpose of this temporary position is to transport student participants and staff from various schools to the Vision Academy afterschool program, on field trips, and for occasional special events.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a predetermined work schedule and be on time for your shifts
Provide consistent and reliable support to students, families, and coworkers
Pick up and drop off students at designated locations in a safe manner
Follow a planned route according to a predetermined time schedule
Help students get in and out of the van as needed
Obey traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations
Ensure passenger safety by following procedures
Keep the Program Manager and school sites informed of possible delays
Perform basic visual maintenance and safety checks (check the Van tires, lights, and oil)
Maintain and complete Mileage logs and necessary documentation
Keep the van clean and presentable
Maintain a safe, hygienic, clean, fun, and engaging environment while on duty
Uphold and enforce all safety policies and procedures
Other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
A valid California Driver's License and clean driving record and insurance
Strong communication skills
Responsibility and punctuality for scheduled work shifts
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
This position is set in an office, school, and community environment
