The Role
The APS 5 Personnel and Capability Office Manager will perform complex Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel management administrative tasks and activities, work to agreed priorities and outcomes that enable the delivery of procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities for Australian Defence Force Academy.

Roles and Tasks include:

Identify and interpret relevant ADF personnel and discipline administrative legislation, procedures and policies as they apply to Staff and Trainee Officers (TO).
Management of personnel/trainee file record management systems and associated documentation.
Supervise the development of ADFA SharePoint functionality, essentially the Personnel Management Administration Tracking feature.
Perform Objective Work Group Coordinator role and train S1 Cell staff accordingly to ensure adequate redundancy. This role sits in a predominately military training environment. The Personnel Management team consists of Military and APS staff. By undertaking this role the applicant will develop a well-rounded understanding and skill set in the area of Joint Military Personnel Management.
