Apprentice Plumber
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in plumbing and HVAC systems. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to learn the trade, develop skills, and gain hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks. The role requires a strong willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for plumbing projects.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting issues with plumbing systems.
Participate in assembling HVAC components as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on experience and training.
Experience
Basic understanding of plumbing concepts is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Previous experience using power tools and hand tools is an advantage.
A background or interest in carpentry can be beneficial for certain aspects of plumbing work.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
