Job Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets, driving room and banquet sales, developing corporate and travel trade relationships, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), wedding, and travel trade segments.
- Conduct regular client meetings, hotel site inspections, and presentations to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through strong relationship management and regular follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal departments (banquets, front office, reservations, etc.) to ensure seamless guest experience.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and reports as required.
- Participate in sales events, trade shows, and roadshows to promote the hotel.
- Track competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality-related sales roles.
- Strong network of corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners (preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and hotel CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
