About the role:

In this Analyst role and as part of the credit analyst team, you’ll support managers in ensuring the portfolio of clients is managed consistent with MUFG’s operation and strategic framework. This role will handle and contribute to Oceania-wide tasks for our Japanese Corporate Banking Division.

The location of this role is flexible – Sydney or Melbourne is preferred, but Perth will also be considered.

What you’ll be doing:

Under supervision of senior management in the credit analyst team, the role will require the successful candidate to:

Manage credit portfolio related requests – periodic review of borrower rating and preparation of credit applications through communication with relationship managers and credit officers in Japan

Manage credit-linked administrative tasks – maintenance of system records, covenant checks, documentation, and various report requests, by smooth communication between relevant parties

Generate historical and forward looking financial and industry analysis through the credit process

Support the relationship managers for preparation of pitches and proposals

In this role, you will be expected to develop your credit and sector analytical skills, understanding of banking products, contributing to the team and relationship mangers, and becoming able to manage the credit process independently.
