Summary of Responsibilities:
Maintain driving records in accordance with KRS, ensuring proper suspension time, and requirements are met.
Research, evaluate, and processes entries received from in state and out of state agencies.
Interprets federal and state laws, rules, regulations and department policy as they apply to the driving record.
Plans, organizes and checks work of other employees to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide customer service to assist drivers understanding of their records via phone and online.
Train new employees on out of state processes and procedures.
Ideal candidate will have experience in:
Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality of work.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Customer service background and willingness to work as part of a team.
Microsoft Office experience.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.


EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.


Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.


Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
