Assistant to Mortgage Broker, Part-time/Full-time (Ahmedabad)
An experienced Canadian based Mortgage Broker need an assistant to share immediately to help with office duties. You will be working mainly from our Ahmedabad office located at Naranpura or Science City location and Hybrid work, you will be assisting in general office duties, back-end processing of mortgage deals. It is required that you have a min. 1 year experience with administrative duties. NO SALES REQUIRED at this time.

Job Duties:
The roles within the mortgage administration team may include, but are not limited to
Mortgage Application intake, prepare incoming mortgage deals for mortgage broker review
Client documentation guidance Documentation management, File, Sort, Scan, name, merge and Organize electronic pdf files, prepare mortgage documentation to meet mortgage industry standards, Verify/validate all required mortgage/client information
Document fulfillment with both Lenders, Lender conditions fulfillment, Follow up on mortgage transactions with lenders and borrowers
Coordinating lender approval, validate commitment accuracy (with support of mortgage broker)
Ordering appraisals.
Closing package preparation using E-sign platforms e.g. DocuSign
Audit/compliance file package preparation and submission, Audit funded files to ensure accuracy and completeness. Follow up on any deficiencies or discrepancies.
Perform other duties as required
Follow up on mortgage renewal deals
Marketing duties – Birthday cards, client gifts/cards, social media updates
Skills Required:
Working knowledge of Google Workplace, Gmail daily email managements, MS Office, Excellent computer skills, able to learn new software CRM quickly, manage databases
Quick learner with an aptitude for grasping new knowledge.
Excellent organizational skills, priority setting and time management skills are essential ability to multi-task, Flexible and adaptable and work with strict deadlines.
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical, ability to quickly detect errors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have strong work ethic, be self-motivated, take ownership, accountability, initiative and proactive mindset
Exceptional interpersonal skills, training and team player skills, be approachable, attentive and helpful.
Basic accounting knowledge, ability to perform calculations.
Carries out duties with integrity and takes responsibility for actions
Excellent judgment / must be able to make independent decisions
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team efficiently without supervision Social media knowledge – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linked in etc.
Experience:
administrative assistant: 1 year (Preferred in Mortgage Industry)
Fresh graduates from Finance/admin assistant background are welcome but should be interested in developing his/her career in the finance industry in Canada/India
Education:
Post-secondary education in Finance background, focus on mortgages and real estate considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: Hybrid Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, sincere and self disciplined candidates out of Ahmedabad and from anywhere in India are welcome for virtual roles
Compensation: Compensation to be discussed and will be based on experience (lots of room to growth), ₹15,000 - ₹25,000
Working Days: 5days a week
